That is the book series I would recommend too. Also, I felt quite a gap in the difficulty level between books 1 and 2. Does this book series have any accompaining audio or video resource? Is there any accompaining web site? AlexBottoni , Yes, each book has an audio CD too.
Is the book written in Korean all? It is mostly in English. The examples are obviously in Korean, but most everything else is English. Yeah, thanks. I was afraid that all explanation is written in Korean but from what you said it is good. Thank you! Amacelia great!
Glad to have helped. The Klear textbook series is also used by several universities in the Western US. A decent book. They will teach you conversation and reading skills if you like that format of learning.
My life & Korean language journey
The only thing I don't like about the Klear books is the lack of answers. I don't usually know if I'm correct for the question sets. Alvn B. Alvn 4 4 silver badges 12 12 bronze badges. This series is the culmination of educational know-how and systematic grammar organization acquired by the three authors from their experience actually teaching Korean to foreigners in the classroom.
- Ezra, Nehemiah, and Esther (Westminster Bible Companion);
- Risk Analysis in Theory and Practice (Academic Press Advanced Finance).
- Investing From the Top Down: A Macro Approach to Capital Markets (Personal Finance & Investment).
- One America?: Political Leadership, National Identity, and the Dilemmas of Diversity.
In focusing strictly on Korean grammar, this series represents a departure from most current integrated teaching materials, allowing foreign learners to more easily concentrate on grammar in their study of Korean. The authors have included real dialogues and illustrations to make the study of Korean more interesting, especially for those students who have heretofore felt Koran grammar to be difficult.
Further, this series equally serves as a general Korean grammar reference that can be used by Korean language instructors both in Korea and abroad who regularly experience the difficulty of teaching Korean grammar first-hand. This way, learners can not only clarify the differences between similar patterns, but also study how they are used differently depending on the situation. The examples presented are not simply sentences constructed for the purpose of illustrating grammar, but rather examples of how the grammar points are actually used in real life.
Further, by presenting a variety of grammatical patterns along with both practice exercises and graphic illustrations, learners can approach the study of Korean grammar with renewed interest.
